S7-1200 G2 with PLCSIM

Hello,

S7 1516-3 works fine with PLCSIM + NetToPLCSIM (as in the Nirtec video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Esqx9yLNTc&t=12s).
S7 1200 G2 with same setup does not work.

Is the 1200 G2 officially supported, or are extra steps needed?

• Port 102 open, PG/PC = S7ONLINE -> PLCSIM S7-1200/1500 (TCP/IP)
• Full access + PUT/GET enabled
• NetToPLCSIM and MS driver config identical (127.0.0.1, Rack 0, Slot 1, start byte 0)

Switching back to 1516-3 makes it work again.

Questions:

• Is the S7-1200 G2 supported with PLCSIM + NetToPLCSIM in MS v4?
• Any known restrictions or extra steps?
• Is there a sample configuration for the 1200 G2?

The Machines Simulator Siemens PLC driver uses the S7 Protocol, is the backbone of the Siemens communications, its Ethernet implementation relies on ISO TCP (RFC1006).

If S7-1200 G2 supports this protocol will be able to connect with MS.
