Dear user community,

We would like to inform you that we will soon be releasing our new version of Machines Simulator v.4.4, hopefully within a couple of months (October 2025).

This new version will bring some important changes to license management, as well as the addition of new tools that we believe will be very interesting and will significantly enhance this tool.

Regarding the license management model, we are switching to a subscription model. This means that licenses will be renewable and can be for one month or one year.

However, we will also have the option of perpetual licenses that will not expire and will not require renewal.

We want our pricing policy to remain the same as it is now, accessible to all users. However, due to the daily efforts we make to add content and features to the tool and the new options the software will implement, we are forced to change this pricing policy to cover the new costs of maintaining servers and infrastructure so we can offer you a much more powerful and flexible industrial simulation system. Therefore, we will have prices that remain accessible to the entire community of users interested in industrial automation simulation and digital twins.
Users who purchased the software up to the release of v.4.4 will continue to retain their perpetual licenses.

One of the important new features of Machines Simulator v.4.4 is the availability of the Nirtec Asset Store. This will be an online store on our website where you can both buy and sell components. We're referring to machines, library components, 3D models, machine programming with their respective programs created with automation software such as TIA PORTAL (Siemens), Rockwell Studio 5000, Codesys, TwinCAT, etc.

In this way, we will create an unparalleled content repository, offering the entire community a vast amount of content for both industrial automation and simulation. Users will be able to upload their developments to the Machines Simulator libraries, either for free or for a fee, by contributing new machines, new UDCs, new components, or 3D models to increase the simulation's power.

If you're interested in creating your own content for the Nirtec Asset Store, please contact us at info@nirtec.com and we'll provide you with instructions and terms and conditions so you can start preparing the content and begin offering it for free or for a fee in the store.

As always, thank you very much for your support and collaboration.
