there is a way to display the name of the opc variables in a more compact way, because now I see the entire path of the variable and it is very long, failing to see the "final" part of the variable, it is difficult to position it.

Yes, you're right, if the tag name is very long is not easy to see in the MS assign window.

I tried to replace the files but when I try to configure it I get this error (sorry but it's in Italian).

Check the dll files you download are not protected. Those copied files may need to be unlocked one by one, from properties dialog , see the attached image.

Please confirm if this solved the problem.
