Hello, I'm trying to communicate between PLCSim Advanced 5.0 and Machines Simulator 4, that are on different PCs. Machines Simulator is on the phisical PC and PLCSim is on a Virtual Machine.
I already set the PLC simulation on the VM and works fine (TIA Portal communicates correctly with PLCSim Advanced) and the IP Address assigned to the simulated PLC is visible from the phisical PC (ping OK). The problem is that when I try to connect the driver in Machines Simulator with the simulated PLC, I ever have the error "Driver Not Connected" and I cannot understand why.
Please, help me...
Thanx,
Kangu

Never tested on different PC's, to ensure proper operation, PLCSIM Advanced and Machines Simulator must be on the same PC.
If anyone can get it working on different PCs please share the configuration. Thanks!

I managed to get machine simulator and plcsim to communicate between physical pc and virtual machine, but after a few seconds (60, more or less) the connection drops. It depends on machine simulator, because I sniffed the data exchanged between the machines with Wireshark and the connection is closed by the Phisical PC. What can be done in this case? Is there a way to avoid this disconnection?
I also did the test with mahines simulator closed and no tcp request starts from the physical machine, so it is necessarily machines simulator that closes the connection
