Hi friends!

Where does MSv4 save the settings (settings from the general and visuals tabs)? Is it some text file?
It happened to me twice (a few days apart) that these settings were lost when running MS.

Thank you :)
Regards.

Some of the settings data are saved in the Windows registry other settings in a file inside Machines Simulator.
Can you explain how the settings was lost?

Lost settings from the Visuals tab:
- resolution
- frame rate limit
- graphics quality
from the General tab:
- I/O number
- categories
Could this be due to changing the additional monitor connected to my laptop? I have one at work and the other at home. They have different resolutions.
The installed system is Windows 11 pro 64 bit.

When you change the graphic display, is normal the graphics settings will change in order to adapt it to the new configuration.
For example, if you choose a resolution that is not accepted by the second display, the configuration will change.
But is not normal the I/O number, or categories will change when you cahnge the graphic adapter or monitor.
We have tested and cannot reproduce the indicated behavior, can you send a video or screenshots to info@nirtec.com?
Thank you!

Ok. When next time this happens I will take screenshots.
Thank you.

Hi!

Today MS lost settings again.
I do not know why. Until today, I switched monitors several times and on Saturday everything was OK. Today, after running the MS, the settings were reset. In my opinion it happens regularly, about every 5-7 days.
I am attaching photos (1, 2 are my settings and 3,4 with the settings after starting MS).
I'll keep an eye out to see if it happens again in a few days.

Regards :)

Hi!

Today MS4 lost settings again.
It's been over 2 weeks since the last time.
If no MS4 users have reported such a problem, it may be some problem with my computer's configuration.

Regards :)
