How to: Ladder program for RTD

Hello, so far I have learned to create simple start/stop motor controlers.
Now I am trying to learn how the PLC reads a platimun 100 RTD.
for the test I would like to RTD have temperture set point for alarm.
This would be with Ladder programs.
Can some one please help?
