The Simatic Step7 Driver is also available for EasyPLC v.5.
Here is attached the instruction manual for the driver usage and configuration.

I see from the website that Step7 V5.4 and PLCSim V5.4 are supported. To use Step7 on Windows 7, would require Step7 5.5 and PLCSim V5.4 SP4. I am not sure if this makes a difference and if it would work?

EasyPLC_Master

This driver, in Windows 7 still is not supported, due the limitations of Step7 v5.4.
I'm working on it, when will be ready, I'll publish on the Forum and in the website.

were can i get the driver for step 7

If I understand right i can't use the driver to V 5.5 of step7.

And now Siemens have step7 V11.

I cant open the instruction manual for the driver usage and configuration.

Simatic S7 EasyPLC Driver must be purchased separately, due is not included in the standard package.
In order to know about the available drivers, please visit the nirtec website:

Mario

I am trying to test the connection between PLCSIM (V5.4+SP5) and EasyPLC.
I followed the sequence:
1) Run Simatic Step 7 (V5.5+SP2).
2) Load your Step 7 program.
3) Make the modifications in the logic you need.
4) Run PLCSIM.
5) Download the Step 7 program into the PLCSIM
6) Put PLCSIM in run mode.
7) Launch EasyPLC v5.0 to test the Step7-PLCSIM I/O

I get:
Driver Not Ready.
Message: PLCSim connection ERROR, code: -2147220975

Any ideas what the cause is?
