Hi Chris!
Can you attach a screenshot of the problem?
Do you have any special mouse or driver installed in your system regarding the mouse or keyboard?

so when move my cursor from any screen onto the screen with machine sim open, the cursor "disappears"
you can only tell where it is as buttons get highlighted.
in the screenshot the cursor is at the help guide.Screenshot 2024-03-19 11343334.png

Hey mate this issue has resolved itself. i believe what fixed it was was windows update:
Windows 11 Insider Preview 26085.1 (ge_release)

Changes and Improvements
[Input]
The new pointer indicator accessibility setting for low vision Windows users introduced with Build 26052 has been temporarily disabled with Build 26085. We plan to re-enable this feature in a future flight after fixing some bugs. Thanks to Insiders for all the feedback on this!
