Title: is license needed for "just" executing a program ?
Post by: ffred on April 17, 2023, 08:59:25 AM
Hi, just discovered EasyPLC and it looks great!
if I create a program and "compile" it with easyPLC, do I need another license if I just want to execute this program on another older computer ?
thanks

Hello, you can use EasyPLC demo versión in any computer, then yes, you can compile a EasyPLC program in one computer and execute it in other.

Please take note EasyPLC demo versión ony allows to use the Simulated Driver I/O device, if you want to use any other conecction driver you will nedd the registered version.

so, with a licensed version AND a specific driver, if I compile a program that I want to execute on another computer (no edition, just execution) I also need a license for that second computer ?

Yes, you will need a license for each computer you want to execute EasyPLC or Virtual PLC (with specific drivers) or Machines Simulator.
