I have installed easyplc/machine simulator in my laptop. I have softlogix on a virtualbox.

Does anyone have experience setting it up to receive data in opc to easyPLC?

I ended up doing everything in my laptop. I have RSLogix5000, RSLinx Classic, and SoftLogix5800.
After I download my small program with two controller tags, and two program tags.
I can then browse tags with Matrikon OPC Explorer.
When I try to setup opc in easyplc I get the following error, even when the RSLinx OPC Server is online:

Driver Not Ready.
Message: OPC Client could not connect to: "RSLinx OPC Server"

Not sure what I am doing wrong, I follow the video on youtube for rslogix5000 and doesn't seem like there's anything to it other than adding tags to inputs and outputs.
