Title: Free Automation Project tutorial
Post by: fredz0003 on January 20, 2016, 02:23:55 AM
Hi everyone,

Not sure if this is the right place, but I am making a series of tutorials with nirtec suite and step7 siemens. Is free and no I am not affiliated with nirtec. Latest update was great by the way. I have uploaded the first 4 videos. I will take you from beginning to finish project. Great for beginners. All programming will be done in Step7 in combination of ladder, stl, and maybe some fbd.

I will be using the Product Automation Basic System machine. Let me know what you think.

Hi fredz0003!

Great tutorials, congratulations you have done a very good work!
I really think that could be very useful for all users, we're are eagerly awaiting the next tutorials ...

But I must to confess you a little secret ;), next month a new EasyPLC version will be released, this will have new features in order to facilitate the connection between the Machines Simulator driver and the others drivers (for harware like interface cards, or software like Simatic, OPC's or TwinCAT).
I will be happy if you update your second video, because as you will see shortly, this task will be more more easy.

Thank you very much for your great work!.

Hi EasyPLC_Master,

Definitely will update accordingly. You mean it can get easier?
As it is now, it does take some minimal programming experience to do the scripts.

Can't wait to see the next update. By the way do you mean the S7 driver will get updated or just the way the IO devices are setup?

Mainly the way the IO driver devices are configured, but the S7 driver also will have some improvements with some predefined configuration and variable names created automatically.

I keep all of you updated with the forum notifications mails!
