I notice from the manual that dll files can be loaded with our own designs. I'm afraid I can find no guidance on the web as to how to design dlls but we have been used to producing SVG files:
If we were to produce SVG files can we incorporate them into the HMI so that we can customise the HMI? If so, what might the development process look like (I realise this is a very general question)? Specifically, do we place the SVG files into a certain folder for them to appear on one of the HMI tabs.
Hello.
The objective for the dll files is to provide an extensibility tool to HMI system in order to allow to the users to create their own graphical controls to be inserted in the HMI, for instance special buttons, or gauges, or something could be useful.
Indeed, there is not much documentation about how to do it as it is intended to 'advanced' users, anyway I will prepare a little tutorial about how to develop these HMI dll controls in brief.
The MHI System managed by EasyPLC is not compatible with SVG files.
Thank you very much, I will look out for it. I do appreciate your kindness
