Title: Button timer
Post by: Jon on May 29, 2015, 11:04:02 AM
I'm working in the HMI and using the toggle button from the Graphic Controls. My button is set interlocked false.
What I want it to do is provide a short pulse when pressed. In the variable value field I'm guessing I can add a time value, If it is possible to do this what should I enter for, say, a 250ms contact closed event?

I think is more practical to manage a boolean variable direclty with the toggle button, then use it as appropriate.
Here I attach a program in order to serve as example.

Thank you, that is really helpful and does what I need.
In the button properties box On is written as false. what does 'On' describe?

The On button property gets/sets the state of the button, when is ON is pressed, OFF released.
This property is used (if is needed) in the HMI script control to get/set the button state.
